Looking out from the windows you could expect to find the Californian ocean, but instead we are in Livorno, in the beach house of a young ship-owner. The floor plan is simple, it consists of three cubic volumes that together are arranged as to create a central patio, this to favour the outdoor living space. The swimming pool in the terrace boasts an incredible view of the sea. The connection to the landscape is intimate, framed by the apertures and the large windows that open towards the sea.
